OUR DESIGN ETHOS Led by a design vocabulary we can call our own, we create effortless silhouettes to be worn by anyone, anywhere.
ALL IN THE DETAILS
Our signature blend of clean, modern tailoring and artful drape work takes inspiration from the contrasting perspectives we find around us: asymmetry versus geometry; stillness versus movement; and lines versus curves.
It is our way of finding common ground, and bringing seemingly opposing details into delightful coexistence.
Extending beyond clothes, our line of accessories present opportunities for a different mode of creative expression.
Our necklaces are meticulously assembled and finished by hand, and are rooted in Asian artisanal craftsmanship. They bring layers, texture and colour to a modern wardrobe, while accent pieces in recycled metal, leather and textured materials add detail and personality.
Our Creative Process
To create the timeless character of each IN GOOD COMPANY piece, we prioritise detailing, materiality and construction. All our designs are made from pristine showman samples developed in our studio in Singapore.
Every detail, every turn of the cloth, drafted or draped, has been created from scratch: We design, tailor, draft paper patterns, and drape on the stand, all to produce the final samples—silhouettes with an inventive, curious twist.
CREATING MOVEMENT — When I create, I think about certain details. I think about creating movement in stillness. I think about how to create something that can be unexpected from a classic silhouette. This could come in the form of finishing touches to a garment, like a contrasting colour on the wrong side of a collar, or gussets that give the illusion of volume without the bulk.

CRAFT AND TECHNIQUE — The traditional craftwork of small communities in Asia has influenced much of my creative process. Through the use of certain techniques, I feel connected to my Asian roots, and I’m able to express that through our selection of quirky handmade accessories.

Material
A priority on materials is pertinent to us. Over the years, we have worked with exclusive, customised fabrics sourced direct from mill—a subtle, yet signature mark of an IN GOOD COMPANY piece.
The fabrics we use are curated to suit a tropical climate, carefully considered for durability, and accommodate an ease of layering and care.
It is difficult to think without obsession, and it is impossible to create something without a foundation that is rigorous, incontrovertible, and, in fact, to some degree repetitive. Repetition is the ritual of obsession... To persevere and to begin over and over again is to continue the obsession with work.
